Welcome to the Halls of Heddon web site, which we hope you will enjoy browsing. We are a traditional family run Nursery Centre established in 1921. Since our early years we have grown many of our own plants and specialised in Dahlias and Chrysanthemums. Our first catalogue of these wonderful and still very popular flowers was first produced in 1931. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, now growing almost 200,000 plants annually and supplying Chrysanthemums Nationwide and Dahlias Worldwide.

There have been many changes over the years and some of these were recorded by Stan Hall in a potted History of the business, which gives an indication of our development.

At our two Nursery Centres at Heddon on the Wall (Near Hadrians Wall) and Ovington, we stock a wide range of Trees, Shrubs, Conifers, Roses, Herbaceous and Garden Sundries etc. Many of the plants we grow are all home produced at our Ovington Nursery with a full range of seasonal bedding plants produced in increasing numbers.

Our aim has always been to offer top quality plants backed up by expert advice and friendly service - all with great value.
